Trash Pickup Day 19: I Found a Library Book!

 Day 19 (Tuesday, 5/2):

morning:

-2 small pieces of plastic

-1 small piece of paper

-1 cigarette

afternoon:

While I was walking back home from my bus stop, I saw an open picture book on the side of the road, which was possibly dropped by a child in a stroller or thrown out of a car window. Surprisingly, this book was in pretty good shape, and I also saw that it belongs to my local library. I took it home, and I'm planning on returning it to the library by the end of my project!

Here are the other pieces of trash I picked up. 

-1 very large piece of cardboard

-1 fully functioning picture book

-1 plastic cup

-1 plastic bag

-4 candy wrappers

-1 paper towel

-3 small pieces of plastic

-2 cigarettes

Because I had to fold up the large piece of cardboard and put it in my bag, it was very hard to carry for the rest of the walk. It was a hot day, as well, which made it harder, as well. I also ran into the same person I talked to on Day 9, and she seemed to remember me and asked me about what I picked up today. I told her about the picture book!
